Does anyone have link or part number etc for a shorter drive belt that bypasses the air con compressor?[/quote]

I don't have a part number but you will need 1765mm 8 peak. I could only get a 6 peak at short notice but it works fine.

Plenty on E/Bay. Have been using 8PK 1755 on mine with no problem.

Does the 10mm difference not harm the tensioner ?

No, both belt lengths are within the tensioning range.
