Where would one position this then? Same place as per a normal jack? "...I'm so broke I can't even pay attention..."

I have a similar jack purchased for a similar price. Mine doesn't have all that writing on it, but the rest of the kit it comes with is identical so in case it was made in the same factory I have a comment on it.
I've used the jack tens of times and have been very happy with it, but I need to warn you of a problem I had for which I could have been the exception, or if not it may have been corrected by now, but just in case read on...
Take a look at the screw that holds the rubber flap valve in place in the T-piece that attaches to the bag. Mine was too small for the hole it sat in and so on first use the rubber disc and screw vanished into the bag. Obviously it didn't stay inflated very well There were no marks inside the screw hole of mine from the screw; it really didn't touch the sides
I grabbed a slightly larger screw (from my box of spare screws I'd taken out of things over the years) and reattached the disc - and it's been a godsend ever since.
I suspect that what happened is that in a batch of 10,000 screws from the screw factory that went to the jack factory, there was one smaller screw accidentally dropped into the box and I was the one that got it.
Don't consider this as a negative, it's not - when it comes to safety this is the kind of thing that we should all be checking regularly anyway, whether on a cheap or full price bit of kit.
As I said, I'm very happy with mine Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

what bothers me about these (as I've been tempted a few times on ebay) is the picture of the blue next to the orange one.
the blue seems to look taller or is it my eyes playing tricks?
there is no mention of size choice on the ad!
as stapldm has poitned out his similar cost/look one does the trick I am a bit more tempted! XC90 T8 R Design Pro

I reckon that's just the cropping / resizing of the pic. The red mat seems wider in the pic of the orange one too. Andrew

I'm no expert, but anywhere that seems substantial, avoiding anything vulnerable or damaging/damageable, like exhaust, plastic trim and plastic heat shield, any cables and pipes or fuel tank that might be exposed on lesser vehicles, and shoving it as far under as poss***. This usually ends up being under the rear passengers' feet, but anywhere along the chassis at the side, sump-guard if you have one... front "sub-frame" if not....
What do folks think about under the spare wheel? Not good if the spare wheel is OUT, but then we ARE advised not to use the airjack for wheel changes.... Not on its OWN, any way...
*** It does tend to belly outwards as it inflates, and if not well under the vehicle can "POP" out (rather dramatically, I should imagine...)
Circumstances often dictate where it goes, anyway - fingers crossed and PUMP.... 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

After some searching and a couple of emails have found the bung (eblag search for discovery exhaust bung) but just one other silly question.
I assume these have some kind of one wway valve so you can stick it under a car and partially inflate if that is all that is required. Am considering one for recovery but also as a quick way of slightly lifting the caravan to put both wheel locks on (doing this with a twin axle is a right PITA).
Is this right about one way valve to allow partial inflation?
Cheers

Certainly the TAKLA has a push-open / push/closed valve which I thought would be the "industry standard"; but I do have a cheap Draper (quotes 3 tonnes ) plastic one which I have never taken out of the bag.
... goes to check....
Shock! Horror! The only valve/control is in the the filler tube end, with its bayonet connection and a non-return valve in the fixing. You leave the filler pipe connected to stay inflated and careless deflation could be a rather uncontrolled rush...
NB Don't forget your NoDo$h bung -

Just to keep you all up todate on this Group Buy!
The little Tw@t in China is at the moment going back on his original shipping costs saying the exchange rate is bad etc. etc. etc.
I am keeping the pressure on him and when I have got his final price I'll let you all know if there is a change before I place the order.
