Rockin Rover Issue SOLVED
WEll I saw this on You2be. Took my Hitachi/Dunlop compressor off however I had yet to recieve the exhaust valve kit. I was confused in earlier attempts but the exhaust valve they talk about on the Dunlop is the 4 screw plate and the happenings underneath. I didn't see much white powder just a very lite coating. Cleaned it up and took it all apart, placing a light coat of silicone O-ring lube on the o-rings. This helped to free up the movement I suspect as possibly the o-rings are worn ever so slightly and was causing it to jam, the valve plunger moves just a bit from what I understand. Anyway my problem got solved for now. If it returns I have the kit and will rebuild the valve.
4x4 air seals is where I got the kit off eBay and here is the link to the rebuild video.
For now all is fine on my EAS knock wood and cross fingers and toes.
My issue was only showing up when it got below 35 deg F which I expect was the o-rings were cold, shrunk causing more of a misalignment in the plunger. Lube has helped more things along.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

Got mine sorted. Took apart the exhaust valve in the compressor as I was confused on where to clean, When I pulled it apart o-rings were slightly worn, which I believe was causing the cold natured issue. I think o-rings were shrinking causing just a bit of misalignment in the plunger. Since the kit was in the post, I placed a small amount of silicone o-ring lube I had left from injector replacement on then and things freed up. Issue solved.
4x4 airseals.com for the rebuild kit, I will have this kit waiting if it ever comes back, as I expect it will soon. When cleaning mine had only a very light coating of white dust barely noticable but I cleaned as well.
Good video here on the repair.

Hi eight foot
So have u rescanned the fault codes plse
As u have the iid, have u checked to see what the pressure is and also does it drop overnight
Can then start getting a base line will then ensure what’s been done
Happy to see if we can go through it step by step , plus I’m only in swanley , so if u get really stuck maybe if u come over to me and go through it , 2 x heads better than one , just an idea

Hi
What code are u getting plse
personally would check the wiring behind the front passenger side wheel arch
so does the compressor start then stop after a few seconds plse , thks
Just trying to establish exactly if that’s the case of what it’s doing , as I’m thinking if the message is coming back from the reservoir valve to the ecu
Apologises going over old ground and understand it can be frustrating
Thks

C1A35-01 not found
I looked thru my suspension codes book and found this. I got this info from a user here. It's helped me out.
C1A3501
Reservoir valve, general electrical failure
Reservoir valve block disconnected Reservoir valve block harness wiring: short circuit to ground,
high resistance Reservoir valve block failure
Air suspension control module failure
Refer to the guided diagnostic routine for this code on the approved diagnostic system. Refer to
the warranty policy and procedures manual if a module is suspect.
I bought a china doll valve off ebay when I was getting a susp fault. The valve was not the problem but the part still rides in the vehicle today without issue.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

TEsting and Diag.
You can search here for testing the valve. IF you have a digital multi meter.
I want to say its 2-Ohms across the solenoid and 5-volt signal is supposed to be at the valve from the ECU.2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
