hi, does anybody know where the Airbag Module is Located?

Do you mean the Restraints Control Module (RCM)? This is the ECU that monitors the crash sensors and vehicle movements (g-force, tilt etc) and decides whether it should fire the airbags and/or seatbelt pre-tensing thingies....
If this is the one, then it's bolted to the floorpan in the centre of the D3 underneath the centre console (cubby/cool box).

yeh thats the one. well ill be needing to replace it or reset it as its a damage repairable discovery 3 which i've got and the two front airbags have gone off and so i presume it will need a new Module.

I am currently repairing a D3 HSE and have replaced the both front airbags,front SRS sensors & pre-tensioners
Im led to believe the unit can be reset once all the hardware is replaced
I will let you know this week as ill be fitting the pre-tensioners and asking for a MSV Faultmate to be plugged in
If you need any part numbers/prices for the airbag units etc. ive been there and done it so can assist you

Not sure why you'd need a new one though.....ISTR it will store (apart from errors) the data about the sensors and the safety devices that were fired, but I believe that it can be reset.
You'd need to change the front airbags and firing cannisters, possibly some of the impact sensors, but I didn't think the RCM was a part that would ever need replacing?2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

When the airbags,sensor's & pre-tensioners are replaced then Airbag light turns off...Ive just got in from the workshop after doing pre-tensioners and giving the interior a clean and mine turned off striaght away
