Airbag replacement

Just purchased a Disco 4 with a steering wheel and dashboard airbags deployed. Do I need to replace the controller after replacing the airbags?

Thanks

As far as I know you do have to change it as I think the used one burns out on firing.
No doubt someone who knows more about them will be along sometime. Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up

There are companies that can reset the old one at a reasonable price, do a Google search, they are located in the centre tunnel, air bags are simply plug and play preferably with battery disconnected. Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You will also need a new dashboard and windscreen as the passenger one has deployed as both get damaged, well it has on the ones I've seen.

Thank you, managed to find them, costs seem to be approx £30 - £60 depending on type

You are correct, both the windscreen and dash do need replacing
