Aircon Recirculation

Just attempted to put the 2016MY climate control into latched recirculation and found that when pressing the button, it will flash once very briefly and then turn off. Turning the temperature control full anticlockwise just stays at 16°C and wont switch to "LO". Trying to turn off "AC" is the same as recirculation and just flashes. IID tool shows no faults for HVAC. Is there a reset procedure for this?
