I think you are right.At the end of the day I don't off road regularly and would still have 18" if I really want to.Roads are not the best where I live so 45 profile is probably the best for me(might just wait to see what BarryG is running before I order)so hopefully I will have stormers fitted in a week or so.

Hi Martin.
275/45/20 " are what you need mate , Also be aware the Disco is a heavy machine
so you might what to give some consideration to the load rating of the tyres you choose, the OEM tyres that come with the D3 have a load index of 111 , most tyres at the 20" are indexed at 106 (lighter SUV market) ,
some people dont worry about this but some do , I went for Genral Grabber Uhp's
they would be classed as a performace Road tyre and have a load index of 110
(not quite 111 but better than 106)
I have had these on now for a a few months and find them great, most of my usage is on the road (b roads)

20"? Not big enough IMHO 2005 Disco 3 TDV6 7 seater. Leather, DVD, fully colour-coded.
