Alternator Replacement, How To Guide?

Is there such a guide on here as I can’t seem to find it for the D4?

Removing the fan on my D3 was a piece of cake but on my D4 there seems to be a lot more in the way.

Yes, it's much more involved with D4. See my experiences on this thread: https://disco3.co.uk/forum/sdv6-alternator...80055.html

There are also some other threads if you do a search. D4 workshop manual helps also as it shows the steps for fan removal etc.
