Greg, I got this when I was registering my SIM, you can see at the bottom the Non-Goody bag option, don't know if this is available once you have registered?

Finally, I've received the Giff Gaff card, activated it and put a £10 pay as you go credit on it.
I've noted the details on the Altox app that's installed on my phone and I know the new Giff Gaff number.
So, what next? I've looked at the Altox Setup but I'm not too sure how much of that I need to do as the Altox has been previously setup on EE, Altox has an account with my email etc.
Do I just slide in the new SIM and off I go or do I have to do some configuration?
DO I need to do this bit:
apn1:internet,apn2:login,apn3:password
and if so, what is that???!!!!
Is there a guide for dummies out there, before I come out in a rash?

OK,
Had a fiddle with this and I think it's all working. Here's what I did for future reference.
Swapped SIM cards in Altox.
On the Altox app on my phone I changed the phone number to the new card.
Then I sent a message to the Altox using SMS:
apn1:giffgaff.com,apn2:giffgaff
apn3, the password field isn't required.
You then get a reply from the Altox. The first line of the reply is your unique ide and it should match the one you can see in your phone app (second line down on the applications settings page, from the menu).
The second line are the server port values and should look like 85.114.140.44 and port 20332.
You can change these but I have no idea if or why you should.
I think that's it if you are only switching SIM cards/providers because you still retain the same Altox account, unique id and password.
There are a few links out there on how to do it but they are a bit tecky. This one was probably the easiest to follow:
