Altox Remote Start FBH connected to the "Smart" home
Hello Disco 3 World.
Has anyone here devised a way to get thier smart home device (Alexa/Siri/Google) to voice activate thier FBH.
I think this would be great but not worked out a way of doing it yet.

You'd need some kind of remote WiFi/Zigbee switch, powered from the car and wired such that it mimics the switch on the Altox loom - I think it would be grounding the green wire to start the FBH.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Simply find a way to send an sms (from memory just send "start") to the Altox from Google...
However, you can:
Use the Google Messages app (if set as the default) to send SMS using voice commands, like: "Ok Google, send a message to [name] saying [message text]."- Easy-Lift suspension module 4.0

On RRS forum, someone said
As as an experiment, I replaced the RF remote with a wi-fi switch and linked that to Google Home. Saying"OK Google, run the heater" switches it on. Wink
