All that history down the pan as the chav Evoque sets the new direction for LR in it's search for anyone willing to pay for name i.e. LR have sold their soul for the sake of money and the Tata bean counters. The Evoque will never be a Land Rover in my eyes, not saying it isn't a good car, but you just need to watch that film, it says it all. LR RIP, it was great while it lasted, but the plastic shallow chavs are taking over the world.

Good job you are three quarters of the way through your life then DT and you won't have to worry about it ...the next quarter will no doubt be spent losing (more of) your marbles, crapping the bed and someone spoon feeding you blended vegetables... so no time for dribbling on about the successful Evoque eh 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have no problem with the Evoque being an Evoque and a fun car it looks too....... for the seven dwarfs, but it just is not a Land Rover, look at the film again, the brand is being diluted for monetary gain, end of Story

Without the Evoque and the new projects LR would go under....
Actually, my father tested an Evoque yesterday. He actually said he might buy one (this from a man who has always said Land Rovers were (a) too big, (b) too expensive to buy and (c) too expensive to run)!
So I'm all in favour of the Evoque, but will always be a Discovery man at heart.....2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
2019 Discovery 5 HSE
