Analog to W-bus konverter
Hi
I have an electricc motor heater with remote control that can also control webasto. The problem is that it only provides a 12v signal to the webasto and not the W-BUS signal. Can this converter be used to start the webasto in a 2007 D3?

Yep that's the one I used, works a treat...
Need to connect the power to a permanent supply so that it sends the stop signal when you remove the 12v from the trigger wire

Sounds very good.
Did you connect the w-bus signal to the red wire on the webasto? Did you cut the cabel or connect it like the picture? Will the webasto still start automatically?

I cut the red wire, based on the fact that it is not fitted to later models.
Its not been cold enough yet to test if it automatically starts, but I expect (hope) it will...

You can trick the car into believing it's cold by cooling the temp sender/sensor behind the grill. Mods:

Garmin Nuvi + D4 Surround + Reversing Camera.
D4 Steering Wheel.
