Great connectors, all the trucks at work have them for the trailer tail lifts, flat battery no problem, a long pair of leads, turn up in another truck, connect up, jump start and away you go all in a minute or two.
Fitted them to all my cars a few years ago for jump starting and running compressor, also good for charging the battery.
Many thks
Have been looking at the links that have kindly been shared ref Anderson connectors/ covers , will remove the front grill and see if I have a bracket of some sort in the shed I’m able to utilise for the Anderson connector

Also reminds me ref connectors
The picture is just for reference but has the connector identification section been removed from the one-drive workshop manuals plse , as before u could look in a wiring diagram then find the relevant connector
Many thks as always

Hiya
Ref the Anderson brackets , has anyone made some themselves plse as there silly money £6-7 each
Wondering if I got a small offcut sheet of 1mm aluminium, cut out the switch aperture then fold it inside a vice
I'd guess that if you were to make your own, you could make it as an exact fit for whatever location you are (eventually ) going to mount it ?.

U trying to say I take a long time to do projects , thought everything was calculated in days and weeks
I was more having a pop at the thread title being your initial idea and the mounting place having moved to almost every other point on the car ! .
