Im not sure is the answer but I do jnow it wont work on my Google Nexus 10 tablet but then Ive had that a few years now

I think Gap recommend against it. You can pick up a cheap secondhand branded tablet that's much more likely to work for about £50.

Or I have an old Android phone in a drawer that I know works with the IID I could be tempted to part with Laughing 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

its arrived activated and connected to my discovery using an old ipad mini . just had a play all seems to be working well .
