Arrived at my dealer today at 0845 and arranged to have as agreed the heater software update dealt with and a little problem with glove box, it keeps opening on its own.
After waitng until 0935 they eventually gave me their spare freelenader to drive away in as they needed my car all day.
I drove away in what must be described as very very pretty red car that sounded like a tin can on a skate board. It did actaullyl ook quite nice on the outside but the ride was noisey and the doors very tinny.
The delay I was told was so that they could valet the car I was about to take. You would have thought they knew I was coming though as I had pre booked it. Still gripe over. 
Got a call from the service manager no less to say that the car was ready for collection at 1430. Drove back to the dealer and receptionist handed me the keys. I asked her if it had made a difference but she had no idea what they had doen to my car but assured me that they would not have called me if it was not fixed.
Any way enough gripping of this dealer , I would not use them if I did not have to they are rubbish.
The heater system is great now.  Hotair both at my feet , face vents and screen all at the same time but different strengths. I have even had to turn down the heater for the first time as its too hot now. 
Well worth the hassle and all down to this site as I would have never known about the fix. 
Oh yes the glove box was fixed to.
Still drove away with another wide grin all the way home. Landrover Discovery 3 TDV6 S 7 seat Automatic
