ISTR this only applies to early D4s. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

ballast wrote:Hi all - just a quick one. Nearside rear caliper was sticking leading to worn pads. Freed it off, but needs further work, so just after a few thoughts:
replace the caliper and if so, aftermarket or genuine - there's a big price difference.
or strip caliper down and replace piston and seals?
It's not in a bad state, just wondering whether it's worth the fluff stripping it down?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

Genuine Repair kits are not cheap for a few rubber seals! It can when others can't,
