What's wrong with mud coloured alloys?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The Wheels in the Photos are powder-coated not painted

They have been dipped n stripped, repaired on a lathe if required then powder coated

The powder-coat is more resilient than paint but like all top layers it can be damaged, Grey has a white base coat so this colour is prone to showing marks, Black on the other hand has a black base coat so you have to go down to the base alloy to show marks.

I really don’t mind a few marks it’s a fact of life so I don’t worry or whinge however if you are worried then silver is the best option as the base coat is silver so marks arnt quite as obvious

Oh the grey ones are a one off for Slimer
Shocked

AFAIK you can get 17" MTR's here, as long as you don't drive too fast

DaveT and Slimer, the MT/R 17" available in Oz is probably the same as yours, albeit oversized and under (speed) rated for the D3. - 265/70R17 112P

But the Oz market could change as more requests for 18s and 19s are lodged with the supplier/manufacturers.

* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

I realise this is off the topic Off Topic but if Goodyear make these tyres in 19" in the UK, then what's stopping them from bringing a few set's over ere?

GY UK website doesn't list 17" MT/R's
Can you point me in the right direction Slimer?

Now 18's would be even better! (since I posess 2 sets of 18's but no 17's)

Probably on the Global/US site then Dave, personally with the P speed rating I don't think they're worth considering unless you're sure you'll never exceed 93mph

19" MTR's are now available in AUS. They are the standard size tyre & the same used in the G4 challenge.
18" MTR's will be available around June standard size as well..
