I guess your kit is not downloading (or displaying) some of the images.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Iceman,
What happens if you 'mouse over' the question mark? Also, what happens if you click the questions mark. I'm no Mac guru but it looks like Safari (I presume that's the browser you're using) is blocking/refusing to download certain types of content.

Since the server update, I tend to see it like this on my iPad now!

David
If I hover the mouse over the buttons then it displays text saying what the button is, for example "reply with quote".
The only thing I have done recently is change some google settings as when I search things online it appears as adverts on other peoples Facebook who are using the same network! So if I'm looking for a gag for the missus and she goes on Facebook then an ad pops up showing gags!
Whatever I changed still hasn't stopped that happening!

Iceman,
Sorry for the delay. If you find a gag for SWMBO maybe we could get a group buy sorted
Can you try starting Safari in "safe mode"?. Launch Safari from the dock whilst holding down the shift key. Other than that, you could try clearing the cache or maybe completely resetting the Safari settings. I understand why you changed the settings but you said it made no difference so maybe going back to vanilla Safari may sort it. Not that it helps, but Microsoft has an option to open a new browser tab "in private" so your browsing history etc. can't be seen by others with access to the computer. I know you said it showed up on BookFace - I can't help you with that - don't do social media. Social networking should be done in a public house Hope this helps,

Thank you David
Holding the shift key and launching has worked, is this a permanent fix or just temporary?!
I can't see a setting in google to restore the settings and I have no idea what I adjusted now!!
Thankfully I don't do social media either, it's only good for one thing in my eyes.........affairs!!
I'll get a group buy set up if I find an appropriate gag

Hi Iceman,
Happy days. Like I said I'm no Mac expert. When Safari starts (normal) it restores the previously open tabs. Holding the shift key opens Safari afresh - it may also disable any add-ons or extensions.
The settings you changed were to do with your Google account? Or were they Safari settings? If Google, try signing out of Google and then go to the Forum or sign in with someone else's Google account and then go to the Forum.
If the shift key trick is working, try clearing out the cache in Safari as follows:

Appears to be a browser cache issue, perhaps because the server move meant an IP address change.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
