I’m guessing it’s not standard

Do you mean the longer one on the rear nearside corner, or the shorter one that looks like it's sticking out of the centre of your roof Shocked

With that thing on there, just be careful when you get up to 88 mph!

After all, these things don’t need roads to get where they are going.....

It is similar to the bent coat hanger aerial - does it get a good signal?

Well, I am the miserable git who is going to try and give a serious answer. Shocked

It looks to me to be a VHF Hi-band PMR aerial. I pressume it is fitted to your vehicle. Is there evidence of a radio installation inside? Holes in the boot and/or on the dash/centre console?

It is of interest to me, as I want to fit radio(s) and the associated antennae to my D4 with minimum damage to the car. If you want to remove it, I would be happy to help and take it off your hands.

PM to follow.
 Phil

Keep smiling & remember it is a Land Rover!

Agreed with the above...do you know who the previous keeper was?
Looks the same that was fitted to the job cars that we used for two way communications, so it was probably a vehicle as such used by government, police fire, ambulance military etc where an additional car to car radio was fitted.... it was a semi covert usage, I.e plain clothes vehicle as opposed to fully covert...
