Anybody know what these engine ecu plugs are connected to?

These two plugs are located on each side of the front of the engine just under the egr pipes
Upon collection from the garage both were uplugged, car ran ok for a few miles and then started misfiring again after i got it back with new inhectors
In honesty they may have been disconnected for two years since i got the car
After misfire came back i noticed them and plugged them back in which disnt cause any changes at all
Just wondering if they are for the egr’s as mine were blanked when i got it?
Anyone in the know that could shed light on what they feed/control please
Not with car at present hence pic of the loom!
Both big multiplugs circa 1” and look the same on both sides in grey/white

Located under the egr pipes in approx this location

EGR plugs if both same side , and if blanked plugging them in will change nothing/prob put a fault logged in the system .

Cheers disco5
Thats what i assumed-plugged in or out nothing changes and no faults apart from the egr blanked code which is constant👍
Do people generally just leave them plugged in when egrs are blanked or leave them unplugged?
