Anyone with an IID Tool in/Close to London
Hi all, this is my first post. I recently updated my beloved Disco 4 (2015) to a heated steering wheel. Ive changed the clock spring to the heated one and fitted the wheel as you have all kindly advised, it lights up like a christmas tree and all works which is great apart from the heat button (light but no function). Seems I now need to change the CCF files with an IID tool. But I dont have one. And I cant PM anyone as I have to post three times before I can do so on here. So if anyone can please ping me a message with their phone number that would be epic. Seems someone called Geoff in Kent is the man to do this. Anyone have his details?! Many thanks. Alas geoff isn’t on the forum anymore , ur need someone with a gap pro as the normal gap iid are vin locked to the vehicles
I’ve got a gap iid and in kent but because if the above won’t be able to change the CCF files
Wondering if an Autel AP200 would work , hopefully someone else will be able to confirm that
If u do a few more posts ur be able to pm others ,
Sorry that’s not much help as if the Autel can’t change the ccf files will either be finding a garage or someone who has suitable diagnostics

I am based in Putney. The local dealer say they are not authorised to change CCF files so cannot do it. All a bit of a nightmare but the ticky bits are all done. Infuriating to have the thing on but not working! Then again it is Summer so no need for it so I will just have to be patient! Thanks for your help.

Indeed, have some months so hopefully a solution will come along
If u don’t mind me adding getting a gap iid will pay for itself very quickly , will do virtually everything that ur ever need, they do come up second hand from time to time here but have to be quick as they sell very quickly
Cheapest I’ve seen is island 4x4 at around £420 , that’s for the Bluetooth version, so can be used on an iPhone, tablet etc
