I can't help, but for your interest I put the new Cooper ATR's on about 5 months ago.
Absolutely no road noise, good wear rate so far pretty happy Trust me, what could go wrong?

I put Silent Armors on my TDV6 SE in early Oct 09 and have found them great. Around town they are only marginally noiser than the OEM Wranglers and very stable. Did a 3000km trip from Adelaide to Victorian High Country and return in late Oct which included lots of off road, steep rocky tracks, mud and snow, and they took me everywhere I was happy to go. In the rough stuff they were equal to a D2 with big chunky muddies. Very stable on the highway at 110kph.
It's too early to judge wear rate but so far...very happy.

2012 TDI Passat - they reckon the DSG is crap, I reckon it's awesome
2010 MY11 Mitsubishi Challenger - Gone (it was a "Challenging Year")
2007 MY08 TDV6 SE - gone

Dan, I paid $430 each for the Silent Armors.
90 Rangie...I think the ride and handling on bitumen is about the same as the OEM Wranglers.
