ARB Summit Bar on LR3

Greetings from NA. New owner of 06 LR3 HSE and looking to add an ARB bumper with winch. Appears that there is a new ARB Summit series bar specified for the LR4 that looks nicer and has holes for park sensors. Anyone know if this can be fitted on the LR3? I thought everything is mostly the same body wise between the LR3 and LR4 but there must be a reason ARB doesnt list it for the 3. Thanks for any info. I have searched but didnt find anything.

From what I have read it won't work as it's for the 2014+ LR4s. They have the different headlights etc. It may be possible to make it work but I believe it would involve a lot of extra work. I just installed the older arb bumper on my LR3 and it was quite the task.

Which model number? Do you have parking sensors?

The Summit bar is only listed for MY14 onwards as that is how it has been crash tested (SRS compliance) to meet ADRs (Australian Design Rules). ARB designed the Summit bar to give a better fit on the facelift models. I think (Not confirmed) that the D3 headlights and grill will not have the clearance with the Summit bar.

You are correct that the Summit bar looks better than the D3 bar, but I could be biased

I installed the bumper with model number 3432150. I don't have parking sensors. I didn't even have fog lights until I got this bumper Shocked
