Arctic Frost
Spotted one in Stockport this afternoon headed towards GS - stands out a lot, very definitely has a green tinge to it!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

It is a good colour, I reckon if it had been available when I got mine, I would have chosen it. Still really like the zambezi though

HELLO TONY
it was not a matter of money so much as what i needed, you get the same
power plant as a hse only not much in the way of toys to go wrong
and as i am a bit older i have done that .
looking at this forum gadget problem are a big niggle with the higher spec D3,and being it is only wife and i and occ grandchild why by 7 seat when 5 will do , i had a 7 seat once they never saw light of day ,
the RRP between my D3 and a se is nealy 10k and for what?,
sat nav leather terrian resonse and a few other gizmos .
Iam not knocking anyone who wants them things Its i can live without them i have a garmin ,and the only thing i should have hadwas a better radio
wiht seperate 6 disc as wife will lnsist on playing girly type music
the other thing is i had it to tow my caravan whitch it does very very well
If LR ever does a 5 seater in SE spec i will give it some serious thought
but i will not pay for something i will never use ,
sorry a bit long but you did ask my opinion,Iam Practice safe eating - always use condiments.

Kevi,
I'm with you.
I have been considering what other members have pointed out to me ad I too have yet to cnvince myself that I need 7 seats.
Equally, whilst I have yet to test drive, If I get a coiler there is less to go wrong and I can give it a two inch OME lift when the time comes. I would use mine as a dual purpose vehicle so serious paint protection would be more important than say terrain response.
Having said that, what toys came with yours please? Do you have aircon?
I have yet to work out if I actually NEED to buy a brand new on or source a reasonably priced 2nd hand one
As for other toys, I feel sure LR will sell them to me as and when I want or need them
Simons Roof rack thing would be my second purchase, a snorkel would be my first
At the moment I am only in the "what if and what about" stage of purchasingregards

Artic Frost
My wife and I have just been in Guernsey for a few days. Saw one if not two over there. Still cannot decide if I really like the "differenxce". Still I thought the Armada Gold on my 1992 Tdi 200 was good

TONY
yes it has air con and i bought it for the very reson it was a coiler
on my D2V8 I could never get rid of that wallowing feeling when towing
my caravan it is a bit of a heavy weight 1600kg when full and mrs k does like to take everything,i dont have leather but i find the cloth warm and comfy
when i get in ,and if i think it will get muddy i can allway pop some seat covers on ,well on second hand side 5seaters are a bit rare but if you do go down that road Iam sur land rover will be happy to relive you of your hard earned £ but e bay is better tasmods sills are really nice

Must be all the snow in the shots but your pictures do not do justice the uniqueness of the colourSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

If you take a look in my gallery you will see some arctic frost pictures. Dealer brought the vehicle in for us to look at however we did not like the way it changed color all the time depending on the light.
