I can assure you that 15kg of TNT set off at 3 mtrs away while you were in the vehicle would give you a bit of a headache And the run flat tyres would be of no use at all

I like the idea of the gas struts on the lower tailgate ,better than that stupid bit of wire that gets caught every time the tailgate is closed

Just noticed on the YouTube blurb for the D4 version that they give a 3yr / 80000km factory warranty on the armour. That's nice but just wondering on the circumstances when you would find out you need to exercise it...

They've come on a long way from earlier versions; I worked in one of the early variants, a stretched Discovery2 that was ok but a bit rough around the edges. Years before semi armoured RRs were produced by the Met to save money. Deathtraps to drive and the doors used to fall off as the hinges weren't up to the job.
