well got the letter for the recall for P008 (High Pressure Fuel Pump front bearing) and P017 (Brake Vacuum Assistance). so dully booked the D3 into local stealer all going swimmingly till the day before when they phone to say the P008 cant be done as parts out of stock so will have to wait till they next have parts in.... bit of a pain as wife had to go home on a bus will 1yo son only to go back a couple hours later on the bus to collect.
all in all service dept where good but felt a bit messed around with lack of parts after they booked the time and the usual half arssed car wash (must be a 4ft tall car washer nas never dose above the top of the door glass)

Just thought I would update on my last rant
I finally got the recall for P008 (High Pressure Fuel Pump front bearing) sorted out this time service dept staff (laura) very helpful proper car wash and advice on tyres ( Ken ) maybe they read the feed back on here??
They advised I need some work on NSF ball joint but I move from Windsor to blandford at the end of the week ...
Two questions:
How long a job is it to sort out excessive play in NSF ball joint ?
Can anyone recommend a stealer in Dorset around the balandford / poole area (just realised Yeovil only 55 miles away) think a call to TLO will be in order..
