AT2 18s Tyre Pressure
It was recently suggested to me that General AT2s should be inflated to LR recommended pressures + 2lb psi.
Is this the 'expert' view?

I've just had AT2's fitted today running them at the recommended LR pressures so I'm also interested to know if that's correct or not...?Cheers Paul

I done 11k miles on AT2's running 32 front and 34 rear, and this works well for me.
When fully laden I increase the rear to 42.Arctic Frost Discovery 3 TDV6 SE, Active Rear Diff, Adaptive Head Lights, Tow Pack, Ebony Leather, Roof Rails, Mantec Guard. Tasmod Stainless Sill plates. Grabber AT's. Home made mud flaps. Side Steps back on until the next time.

Yes we do think that a couple of pounds extra works well.

As you like , drop pressures to suite conditions, but remember the lower the pressure the greater the risk of damage, horses for courses.

Phil, I've been runing mine +2 front and +3 rear over the LR recommended pressure for normal use for 20K miles and am getting even tyre wear.The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

I think AT2's seem too low when run at LR recommended pressures on road....
I have mine at around +2 front and +2 rear and it seems a good compromise....at least over the last 5000 miles
I drop them to 28/30 when travelling a very muddy route and up them to 38/40 when on very rocky routes....

What worries you paulp? Looks to me that I'm running the same pressures as you are. I put a little more in the back because of the dog box and 120kgs of dog.The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

I thought that you wrote that you were getting uneven tyre wear having run your AT2s at the same pressure as me but for 20,000 miles, but I've just realised you said even tyre wear....
