How to attach front number plate when A bar is fitted?

Jst got my SE as posted elsewhere. Car has front A bar fitted and I wondered if there is some sort of plinth available to fasten the number plate to ? At the moment it is cable tied to the A bar. Thanks in anticipation. Nigel

LR do a number plate plinth, but it just sits behind the number plate and attaches to the front bumber - about £12 I think.

The number plate usually has plastic bolts through it into the bumber.

Yep, mine is on a plinth fitted to the A Frame.
Used to be standard fit in most earlier specs, but then LR in cost cutting mode now no longer fit them.

£6 form the dealer, make sure they understand, some have been known to say the are not available or get you a USA size one.

Bolted through the a-bar and numberplate. Found with some "splashing" Very Happy that the screws pulled out of the plastic in the a-bar and almost lost the numberplate.

Rock solid now Thumbs Up

I used double sided tape of the commercial type. Sticks like s**t to a blanket and needs petrol or some similar spirit to break the bond when removing. Thumbs Up
