AULRO ( Australian Land Rover Owners) Lithgow W/E day 2
Hi all,
Day 2 of our Lithgow W/E trip last year.
Note the RRS did have T/C issues and ended up with a broken P/S front CV.
Great Fun
Many thanks to Jimmy & Karen for putting it together.

Glad you bumped this as I missed your original post, great video and very jealous of the terrain you have over there Did the RRS have problems with his traction control, he seemed to be struggling more than normal Cheers Ian

Excellent vid and yes, very jealous. Where's the rain and the mud? It's not real off-roading if it's dry and sunny. Lee

I've seen that black RRS in a few videos, it usually does really well.
What was the issue with the TC not working properly.
Interesting to see the different lines and tyres showing how easy/hard they made it up.
Some drove up with minimal fuss whereas others took more effort to climb. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Rest well old friend, your work is done.

This D3 has a Disco3.co.uk sticker on it.
Who makes the sliders that are on it? They look like full length ones.
Pic was grabbed off my phone so sorry for the small picture. In loving memory of FA54WSK.

That would be my D3, we have a Queensland forum member who makes the sliders.
Either narrow like mine or wide if you wish.
Yes the steel wheels are on 2.7ltr D4's, now been dropped from our range.
They are 17's.
Yes some chose easier lines, straight up the middle was the harder line.
Not sure what they found wrong with the sports T/C, it ended up having to be towed out of the bush and then picked up on a flat top towtruck.2014 SDV6 HSE White, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Tuff Ant Sliders and 18" steel wheels, Safari Snorkel, Rhino Rack Platform, ARB Air Compressor, Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.
