Aulro D3/D4/RRS Group Weekend Away |
|
Recently we arranged a little D3/D4/RRS Aulro weekend away camping up in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney. 20 D3's and D4's plus one RRS turned up for a bit of fun off road, anyway if your interested check out the video clips.
Some of the tracks we get to drive can be a bit of fun occasionally, unfortunatly chances are some if not most of these tracks may have been burnt out with the recent big fires we have just had.
Hope you enjoy.
Cheers
TerryO

latte comments are a bit of an in joke with Aulro members, basically the (we are all tough) Defender mob call anyone with a D3/D4 latte sipping pansies and any D3/D4 is always put down as not being a serious off road vehicle. In general most of them believe only real men drive Defenders and sooks drive useless Disco's that are only good for driving the kids to school in.
The funny thing is the previous time I went out with some of these poor disillusioned souls most of them were to chicken to go from bottom to top up Mt Walker and in fact I had to drive up the lower section to winch a heavilly modified 110 off of rocks that was stuck high and dry.
So some of us who do use our Disco's seriously off road take great delight in mocking the crap out of these members of the flat earth society about how good Disco's are.
cheers TerryO
