Being my first Disco im not sure what to think of the auto box,
when cold a couple of times pulling away I've had the engine Rev and not go for a second, then a jolt and I'm off.
More often than not the gear change is slow, like it makes your head go forward and back. (Unless accelerating hard)
Often but not always when slowing then taking up drive I get a clonk.
It's this normal behaviour? Gear change is better in command.
Thanks

Took it in today, knock on taking up drive is "normal" apparently and so is the knock when driving slow and dabbing the brakes. It's being checked over and they spoke of a possible software update and brake pedal reset for the snatching. Fingers crossed it's better when I get it back.
Oh and the increase whistle on the Turbo is also normal but they'll take a look for leaks.

A knock when travelling slow and dabbing brakes could be a sign of a front bottom arm rear bush on its way out

That's what I thought but was told it's normal.
I do get the hesitation sometimes, will report
Thanks

Drive slowly down a lane.. If its bad enough and is the bush it will bang in time with the ruts!
Hard to tell on the road even if they are badly worn unless you dab brakes.. The rough road trick should tell you

Technician came out with me and as sods law applies it would only knock when dabbing the brakes "that's normal they all do that"
