Another -- can you help: I have looked the manual front to back, and can't find if... can I disengage the auto central locking clicking in @ 4-5 mph.. as i quite often have to get out of vehicle while still running and I always forget to press the 'unlock' button on dash! It would be SO much simplier if all the doors (inc. boot) stayed 'unlocked'? Thanks for any help?? I believe I am correct in saying that if your's is a base model (ie without the Settings Menu - like mine) then the only way to disable the auto locking feature is to visit the dealer and let them disable it for you. On vehicles with the Settings Menu you can do it for yourself.
Hope this helps! Arctic Frost TDV6 5-seat
Terrain response
Climate control
Xenons
(Yes, it's an odd spec - but I like it!)

Now there's nowt wrong with going for the base model, granted I went for the 7 seater, but was certainly a bit concerned, what with, let's just say, people having 'a fair few problems with the air suspension' But touch wood mine has not started binging at me and staying in access height so far, 9000 miles in. In fact some people have stated that the lower end models may in fact be a bit more reliable,ie less in the way of goodies maybe, but less to go wrong, and fewer things that Land Rover could possibly have put together incorrectly. All things aside, as an on road / off road, family plus whatever lugging, robust vehicle, the D3 is great.

Front only and I think drivers door only. The rear are locked until you press unlock button on dash or remove the key. Well thats what it is on mine.
