Good morning every one , I thought I would share this , my auto hand brake had not worked for while the usual sticking on and squeezing thing, I took the the car to 2 specialist and both told me I needed a new box plus maybe discs and shoes £1000 , any I found a local guy who repairs land rovers and repaired the hand brake in situ and replaced the main part in the box which fails (he gets this part made). I was also informed that auto hand brakes need calibrating once a year. But anyway to repair the hand brake plus discs and shoes was £360 which is better than a grand happy days and no problems since , let me know if any one wants the name of the garage ,
