I believe they are not everywhere seen as a legal replacement for snowchains. Roel

i did a test with these for a magasine using a volvo xc70 driving straight up a ski run in austria and comparing against snow chains, to be totally honest the socks went just as far as the chains but the advantage with the socks was that they took under a minute to put on/ take off where as the chains took alot longer....
i love em...

Autosocks do but easygrip doesn't according to thr french website. But I have more often problems to understand French. Roel

My brother's got a set of AutoSocks, needed them on a ski trip to Norway, and really rated them. I was fooling about in Switzerland with a set of chains for a visitor; they really are awkward to attach and remove without getting filthy. son of less tech-literate 2007 LRD3 owner (unmodified 'arctic frost' TDV6 HSE auto)
