Auto windscreen wipers and lights

good morning.
my automatic windscreen wipers have decided to default to operating every 2 seconds when turned on and the auto headlights permanently stay on.
the windscreen was replaced over Christmas with a genuine landrover screen.
could this be a loose connection from when they replaced the screen, or does the system need a hard reset or is the sensor knackered.
if possibility of a loose wire can anybody point me in the direction of the connection so I can check it.

thoughts anybody

Is the sensor clean, birds have been known to manage a direct hit. Can you see the sensors from the outside, they may have been dislodged.

Wipers, has the sensitivity switch on the stalk been moved Question

Hard reset might work but I’m doubting it.

Either way who fitted the screen needs to be notified.

I can see the sensors from outside and they all look how they should with no bubbles under the surface. I have also checked the connection onto the sensor and it is fine. so looks like the sensor is knackered.
thanks for the help

Pour water over the screen where the sensor is and see what the wipers do, cover the sensor up and see what the lamps do, Disconnect the sensor and see what happens, if they are still the same it’s the sensor.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

That’s a good start then.

Do you have any warnings on the dash?

There’s a connector which may not be seated correctly. Could be worth popping off the plastic trim around the mirror/windscreen bracket and checking its correctly engaged.

Do you have auto dip? If so, does that work?

Does the chromatic mirror work?

connector on the sensor is seated correctly. don't know about the connector at the other end I assume it is behind the interior light. no auto dip and I must admit I haven't noticed if the mirror is working correctly.

and no warnings on dash

So I have now put a new sensor on and still the same problem it is not working. all seated correctly. I do have an intermittent error code regarding connection to auto sensor.

where do I find the other end of the connector from the sensor. I looked behind the light and could not find it
