How much of a here should the handbrake give if you start to drive away without manually taking it off?
I've just changed rear shoes (thanks bodsy) and not sure if I have them adjusted too loose, or if they were too tight before. Now when I pull away it's super smooth, like you barely know the brake was on. Previously you definitely felt the back of the car load up before the brake came off.
(Generally I don't use the auto-release feature, it seems cruel, but it's a useful test here). 2008 TDV8 Sport HSE
