On the oposite side of the car lift the plastic cover up and the battery is at the front next to the air filter

We have the same problem - have had the stop start not working for a good 2 years now. Had it's service last year and didn't get fixed ... was "overlooked" and not flagged up. Was told by a friend that it was the secondary battery that was flat.

Is it easy to replace ?

Dead easy to replace left of boomer back big plastic cover
Then lead red just unlip red clip and loosen bolt to battery same for negative battery is held in place by bracket over on nut to left but need thin extension socket when replacing use a bit of blue tack in socket to hold but in place change over battery
Takes 20 mins exude battery cost £45 not £130 what land rover charge exactly same battery

If you haven’t got a SS fault light on it’s the main battery not the Auxiliary small SS.
If you have a SS fault light on it’s the small auxiliary battery. Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
