Aviemore - eating recommendations

Taking SWMBO for a well earned long weekend away in a couple of weeks, can anyone recommend any good eating places. Someone suggested the Old Bridge Inn and the Rowentree but wondered if there were any more decent places pubs/resturants in the area. I'm also told the Mountain Cafe do the best breakfasts. Any advice appreciated Thumbs Up

Not a lot to choose from up there, maybe the McDonald Hotel but never tried it.

The Indian is good on the left as you enter the town but not the one further in on the right past the petrol station.

Thumbs Up For the Bridge Inn though!

Should point out.........the above recommendations aren't some where I'd be taking a lady to WOW them !

Just good food at a reasonable price.

Cheers guys you've given me a few more names to choose from. We are staying with family in one of their cottages a few miles out of Aviemore but they don't eat out much so we plan to take them somewhere nice. Thanks for the names Thumbs Up

In my experience it appeared that Aviemore had been twinned with Chernobyl Rolling Eyes
