Anyone had a remap from Avon Tuning in Bristol on their D3? Opinions and experiences most welcome 2007 D3 SE - currently having all sorts bolted to it...
Series I 1953 - original, unmolested and well loved
FL1 Diesel - gone - not missed...
FL1 Petrol - gone - some good memories...
Series II - gone but not forgotten

I've never heard of them.
Why not go to the acknowledged experts:-

Pete Smith is very helpful, as very many forum members can vouch.
Search on the forum for BAS & Avon and consider the results, I guess you will get tens of pages of results for BAS & maybe one or two entries for Avon.
Good luck, let us know how you get on.

No argument from me regarding the BAS remap, as it’s well regarded. Perhaps a slight re-phrase of my question - Avon quote gains in power and torque whereas BAS don’t, explaining that the development of the remap configuration gives noticeable and useful gains in both, whilst at the same time not ‘straining’ the engine. I am interested basically because Avon are 20 mins from my house - if the remaps are similar in power and torque then it’s cheaper (less additional functionality, I know) but I’ll also get the chance to see it before and after on the rolling road.
I’ll have a search for Avon Tuning on here - just wanted to know if any members had already gone down that route 2007 D3 SE - currently having all sorts bolted to it...
