If you did them yourself as previously mentioned you need the suspension at normal ride height before tightening everything up then you definitely need 4 wheel alignment, if you tightened them when they were hanging this would give terrible handling (I know I did this first time)
Appreciate this mate re done it all and torqued will at ride night 466mm under load and wow what a difference is just like it was before without the banging still booked in tomm for 4 wheel alignment as def needs it as the steering wheel has never been center while in a straight line so hopefully they sort that as well at the same time
Thanks for everyone’s help is really appreciatedDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

If you have seized adjusters then there is no point in getting it 4x wheeled aligned as it wont be right, you need a garage that will do it properly even if you have seized bolts.. If they have said what you have quoted above look for another place.

Well that is what they quoted but I will find out tomorrow he did say they use a hunter and a print out before and after and you can watch them do it they did say that as long as there is no seized bolts it wouldn’t cost no more and the fact that I have had the fronts off that it’s a quick and easy job and had most of the backs off last week as well when I changed the half shafts so should be quick and easy reallyDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

What I meant is that it would cost more if there any seized not that they wouldn’t do it

That maybe the problem then mate I did tighten them when hanging how would you say I re do it then mate I will get the tracking done after as well
Set the car on axle stands vent air from the front bags, undo the bolts use a jack to lift the suspension until the centre of the hub is 465mm from the underside of the wheel arch then re tighten, re inflate suspension then get 4 wheel alignment, look for a hunter specialist near youRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car
