We have a Kampa Club Air too, along with both side extensions for longer stays away. Loads of room, easy to put up on your own.

We also have an air canopy which we use on weekend trips - up in around 10 minutes and then you can crack open a cold one!

I have a steel pole awning and the first thing I did after putting it up was to colour code all the ends of the poles so I can now put it up in 20mins or so, looking forward to next weekend and a week away in Wales.

Hope it goes well for you Stew. After 26 years of caravanning with a full awning of various descriptions, we’ve just this year down sized to an inflatable porch awning.

My views are pretty much reflecting what’s already been said. You fill the space you have, so with the porch we take less stuff! We didn’t miss anything this last trip, so we probably over equipped in the past. The Engel still fits and that’s the main thing!

Ours is an Outdoor Revolution with an optional sun canopy. It’s a heavy Censored to lift and it’s still hard work pegging in hard ground.

Overall, I prefer the porch to the full. My only concern is the sealing between the caravan and awning edge on a porch is not as robust as the full awning, so winter caravanning may be more of a challenge. We had 3 weeks of perfect weather this summer so it’s not even got wet yet!

Just taken a punt on a "Amazon Exclusive" Lichfield Dakota 3m Air Awning. Tried it today on our Bailey Olympus 2 on the drive so not pegged down but in general worked OK and a perfect ft

In fact the box identified it as being a Vango awning although none on their site are quite the same. The Vango site even allowed me to register it as one of theirs for the extra year warranty. The closest equivalent under their name (3.3m vs 3.0m) is ÂŁ1000, my Amazon price was ÂŁ342

That’s what I thought. Always taking a chance when going cheap but all seems to be good. Some niceties missing such a separate fill points and cross beams but it has a draught skirt, wheel covers with sucker mounts, good pegs (not the thin bendy ones), even a rubber mallet.

So far the only criticisms are I have had to straighten a couple of the bladders inside the beams and the picture instructions are not that clear. Now I know it is actually a recognised brand it seems a bit less risky.

That looks exactly the same as my Vango Varkala awning and I paid more than that for an ex-display one Big Cry
A point to note, you need a genuine Vango electric inflator as I tried others that look like they would fit but didn't. The Vango nozzles are a slightly different size.

Thanks for the heads up, I will bear that in mind.

As you have to inflate each beam separately at the moment I can pace myself.

It comes with a double stroke inflator and a gauge, the only problem with that is pushing down to get the final few PSI is no problem with my weight but pulling up for it is no picnic with my back Censored

I didn't need the next size up, Baily Alutec are absolutely straight top awning rail and this one is a perfect fit. Drag the top right to the corner and the right wall is well clear of the door, the left misses the window. When we pitch up properly I will post a pic.
