Just got a late 90 HT xs remaining . HairyDan became the new owner of a 50th that I imported from Japan and I've just sold a td5 heritage that I lightly restored

Purely an enthusiast. Maybe if I had my time again then perhaps things would be different rather than working in mud all day.

The first mod arrived in the post - external d4 decal and round internal sticker Do I put external decal below stop light or above number plate light? Mud flaps should arrive today.
Can't wait for Saturday to start the big deep clean - trolls breath and snow foam all ready to go.

A busy day that I have been looking forward to since collection on Monday.
A full steam off with car in extended mode to allow better access to underneath followed by a foamy bath, clay bar and wax. Dropped the spare (need anti theft disc) to allow for both wheel and chassis clean together with cavity wax to underside and acf50 to wheel. Repair to tiny crack in windscreen. Removed recovery eye cover and applied heat to tabs to bend them slightly - it might work

Stretched her legs for the first time since purchasing. Struggling to understand a couple of quirks. The headlights as mentioned in another thread - why delete secondary main beam when indicators could have gone in void below drl? Why is the boot only lit up by one measly bulb in the roof? The other two could have been wired to come on too or even better some illumination below the cover. And the say what you see feature is rubbish compared to that on my transit!
On a positive she rolled along nicely. Outside temp was 2 degrees so was expecting to be encapsulated in smoke from the fbh. No evidence of it working so popped bonnet to check and burnt my fingers on the damned thing - improvements must have been made over the d3 33.5 mpg on a 160 mile trip.
