Back in a Disco (hopefully)
After 5 years without a Disco in my life I have sold my dream motor (some dreams are best remaining as just that) to purchase a D4. Deposit paid and subject to inspection by Hairydan in Newcastle tomorrow then I'll be collecting Monday. How do I know hairydan? I'll let him explain.
The purchase - 2015 hse corris with black leather. Can't wait to get reaquainted with LR assistance

Nice. What was your dream motor?King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

A hand built, aluminium bodied vehicle bolted or glued together in the midlands, similar build quality to Land Rover and both owned by the same company once upon a time. A nice thing to have owned but Land Rovers tick more boxes for me.

Been to look at the D4 today for Jeremy and it's very nice, a very clean example of a well looked after D4

I'm the current custodian of Jeremy's old 50th Anniversary Defender

One more sleep
Collecting tomorrow, train arrives in Newcastle at lunch time.
I'd have to say that Stratstone are very difficult to deal with.

Collected at lunch time today. Picked up from station in a Velar Don't get it?
Apart from the tyre issue the vehicle is mint and young Dan was a pleasure to deal with. He got it that I'm not into show business. Probably the quickest handover ever.
Pics to follow.

Brilliant glad you got on ok, big change from the Defender, I did similar swap a few months ago, loving it, all this comfort takes a bit of getting used to!
Huge difference in towing with it though, magic.
