Hi Rob
Before picking up my Disco 3 TDV6 SE last year, I paid an extra $500 to have five Cooper H/T+ fitted by the dealer. I have been advised by the Cooper dealer to have a five wheel rotation every 5,000 kms which I have done. To date I have been pleased with the tyres, or should that be tires as they are made in USA?
I was interested in Mark T's comments about Cooper Discover ART's being available in Disco size mid 2008. Will they be in 18"?
Good luck and a Happy New Year.

Thanks Rosco, the Copopers pope told me every 10,000 and did not mention the spare being rotated. Good point. I will speak to my dealer about it on my next service (next week).
Cheers

On a 4wd vehicle all tyres should be
of the same rolling circumference.
Ottherwise the tyres will be travelling different distances per revolution.
This causes "wind up " in the transmission
which will show up as difficulty, in most vehicles, in deselecting 4wd.
Its not a problem on loose dirt because the smaller tyres
have an oppurtunity to spin and catch up.
On the tar it can result in blown gearboxes and/or transfer cases
