If you want to keep local to Woodford, is the Thieves Neck still as good as it was?

Carnforth Shocked
Too risky for me that place. I have relatives all over the place there. If they were to see my D3 outside a pub and I had not visited them I would get my balls removed with a spoon.

the Unicorn...out of Woodford gates, turn left, downd the hill to the roundabout, second exit and it's there on the left by the Shell garage. Not a bad place at all.
I spent 5 years backwards and forward to Woddford on 146/RJ jet activity for info.

Unicorn is OK, its a bit of a 'Bewers fair' type of pub these days though.

Theives is a real local pub. If you walk in there and they don't know you, you have to do a few 'initiation' ceremonies before you can buy a drink.

Its Robinsons beer though, which is not to my personal taste.

Censored ! I have to go to Filey tomorrow evening to pick up the winch I have bought for Betsy. I am aiming to get back reasonably early. Where are you staying Andrew?
