Site is lovely - sea views are great, not too many people here at the moment.
Facilities are unbelievable - look to be quite new but spotless - even have baths here !!
Not been up to the barn yet but I'll find out if they are doing anything over Xmas.
Easy to get to - we are on a super pitch which is massive - water, waste, sat, telly, radio good amperage hook up.
Only one downside - boy is it windy lol lol2013 Evoque

we we one there last week (until Sat, left about 10am) - nice site, especially the new block (which we were closer too)
Barn was a bit bleak - and no steaks!! we found a nice pub, the Elm Tree, with good food (cider and fish week), left out of the site, first left, and about 1/2mile down that road, left agin by phone box.
The site was really quiet last week, and no park in veiw at all.

Oh happy days, that takes me back a bit!
Spent many a happy time at Sea Barn Farm as a young lamb 20 or so years ago!
Don't remember Bagwell tho?

so if you have decent weather (which we did last week), you could be looking at this same sunset from the site over Chessil beach and the lagoon out to sea:

Hi Al
We almost had that view tonight but it was soon replaced with very moody looking clouds.
Last night we thought we were about to take off lol the awning stood well as its on the downwind side but 2 doors down looks like a big top ! All night - flap flap flap.
It has absolutely hammered it down most of today so decided to shelter in a dog friendly pub by the old harbour in weymouth lol
Just battened down the hatches for tonight onslaught of wind.
Oh I'd guess you were roughly on pitch 33 ?.....2013 Evoque

hope the weather isnt too bad for you - it was bloody cold (2deg) Sat morning when we got up - gues thats the problem this time of year - you either get cloud/rain and mild temps, or lovely clear skies and bloody cold. I was well impressed with the new Bailey's insulation. I left the electric heting on 500W and the blowers on night setting. Toastie warm all night and only a tiny bit of condenstion on the bottom edges of the windows in the morning.
Have a great week away.
