new build should be getting them for the line very soon.TLO has left the building.......

Mines been in for a standard service with a scheduled change of belts. But as usual some other issues spotted..
Lower control arm bushes being replaced and worn ball joints.Whilst trying to change out the ball joints they noticed that the front right drive shaft was fused within the hub ( confused with that one) and was a right to remove.New part ordered etc and I get to try out a span new Def2 whilst Im waiting.
But thanks to this thread at least I'll be able to ask if the BJ's are replaced with the newer HD versions.At 170,000 klms so I'm not surprised they need a change.

Does anyone have a technical drawing of where the bushes or ball joints are in the D3 suspension? I've had my front bushes replaced but I'd like to see where they are in the suspension both front and rear. Thanks!16 D4 Landmark

I would also like to see a drawing or photograph pin-pointing were all the ball joints and bushes are actually located. Can anyone help?

Thanks The Large One. Excuse my ignorance but would I be right in thinking that what's in the top box is the front upper suspension arm and what's in the lower box is the front lower suspension arm? Is the bar in the middle the anti-roll bar? Is there one ball joint for the upper arm and one ball joint for the lower arm?

Hi all,
Has anyone had their ball joints replaced under warranty after 60k.
Would love to know as they wont do mine under LR Extended warranty and I am going to the ombudsman as they obviously are not fit for purpose.
Any confirmed repairs would help me set precedence.
