Had the lower ball joints replaced under warrenty (HD ones) ,mentioned the extra warrenty cover about suspension joints and was told that if its a MOT fail they should replace FOC. Thumbs Up

Take it to a local MOT station and tell them you think the joints are gone because the car wanders all over the road at speed.

See how quick they fail it and then pop back to LR for the free replacement.

Problem solved.

England

Final word on my ball joints.

Took the old girl to my bro in laws Peugeot garage to take advantage of its half price MOT offer and asked my bro to check the ball joints and suspension arms.

Yep passed first go - no probs and couldnt find any fault with any of the suspension bits. Thumbs Up

So it was the stealer after all, Censored em - thats the last time it goes anywhere near them - off to the local specialst JE Eng for any important work.

My bro in law is in line for a major session!

Thanks to all who responded and helped.

The old girl is bowling along nicely, even getting 33mpg on a good run with cargo (and me) on board.

What a motor.

Mine was into the dealer on Wednesday for geometry check as it is pulling to the left, they called back and said there is play in the ball joints, the car is just 12 months old and done 20k miles, anyway it is booked in again next Wednesday to have the uprated ball joints fitted, just in time as we are off to the South of France on Friday.
I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.
