A bar winch version

The current A bar winch version (LR005743) in the online catalog states that its for 07 MY onwards.

Does anyone know if this would fit a 2005 model ? or whether there is another available part number for 2005 vehicles ?

My guess is that it says "for 07 MY onwards" for a reason....

It say's for all model years. The EU ruling against having metal A-bars came in around 2007 so maybe that is where the date comes from???

Bumper shape hasn't changed until the D4 as far as I know so I can't see any reason for the 2007. I bought an A bar without knowing what age vehicle it came from and I got it to fit without any problem. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Expo Rack, Club MTR, LR Spots, A Bar, Light Guards, GNVP Sump Guard, GNVP Ladder, Cup Holders, RLD A Bar brackets. Disco3Club stickers, Aux power on Mod

Correct one for ours is:

Only changes to the D3 bumper is in aesthetics only.
However there was a change around that year as to how the 'A' Frames were fixed through the bumper.
Pre 07 'A' frame had two bolts on each vertical facing leg going through the bumper and securing onto a bracket fitted to the bumper bar.
Post 07 'A' frame had fixings at bottom of each leg and also behind each leg on top of the bumper facing.
[not sure how post 07 is secured to the bumper bar though]. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
