| Base stereo-no power after car wash |

Hi Folks,
I have had my car washed at a local shop - pressed for time, so outsourced it! After the first wash - about 6 months ago - the head unit had no power. As mine is a MY07, the time on the dash displayed "--:--"
I took it to the dealer the next day and they said they replaced the head unit. I thought at the time it was good service - to recover my CD out of my old head unit and put it in the new one... hmm 
Next time I had it washed there - a couple of months ago - no problems.
Last weekend - pressed for time again, I had it washed there and yes, no power to CD-400 again. This time, I followed the guidance from here and disconnected the battery (after the park brake light extinguished). Power came back and all is well - just had to reset the time - not retune the radio stations in.
The car wash is not cleaning under the bonnet. There must be a loose ground connection or another weak point in the design.
Does anyone have any ideas? (Other than not washing the thing!)
